Soldiers kill notorious kidnapper in Abia

Soldiers attached to the 144 Battalion, Asa, Ukwa West council area, have killed Chisom Aloysius Enyinnaya, a.k.a IPO, a notorious kidnapper, along the Opobo-Azumini highway, Abia State.

The soldiers had received information that the gang was robbing crayfish dealers on their way back from Oron, Akwa Ibom State, Vanguard reports.
On sighing the troops, Chisom and his gang engaged the soldiers in a gun duel at Akpaa Mbato community.
 
The kingpin was shot dead, while his boys escaped with bullet wounds.
The driver of the bus that was conveying the traders, Ndifreke Sunday, narrated that they were ambushed as their vehicle slowed down on a bad portion of the highway.
The deceased and members of his gang have been on the wanted list of the security agencies following the increasing attacks on motorists plying the Opobo- Azumini highway.
