Change will only come when 2016 Budget is signed – Minister

The Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu on Sunday declared that the much anticipated change will not manifest until the Federal Government signs and implements the 2016 budget.

Onu said this during the launch of an updated edition of a book; “Each Man, His Time – The Biography of An Era,” written by a former Minister of Information, Prince Tony Momoh in Mararaba, Nasarawa State.
He stated that the government was still running the country with the 2015 budget of the immediate past administration of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Onu said, “Change won’t come until the 2016 budget is signed. What we are using now is the 2015 budget which was not done by us. Our president has restored our image to the position of repute, so let’s support him.”
The Minister noted that President Muhammadu Buhari was working tirelessly towards ensuring he meets up with his campaign promises of ‎providing job opportunities and securing the lives and property of Nigerians.
