51-year-old actress, Clarion Chukwura marries for third time [PHOTOS]

Renowned Nollywood actress and humanitarian, Clarion Chukwura, on Thursday tied the nuptial nuts with her U.S. based fiancé, Anthony Boyd.
 
The 51-year-old actress married again after a third attempt in a rather low-key wedding ceremony on Savannahs Street, Georgia, United States.
She once had a relationship with afro-juju legend, Sir Shina Peters and bore a son, Clarence Peters after she ended her first marriage to a certain Mr. Abiola in 2003.
She then remarried in 2004 to Femi Oduneye popularly known as Femi Egyptian; they however, separated in 2006, after which they got back together about six years ago before they finally got divorced recently.
 
The ‘Apaye’ thespian shared a picture on her Facebook profile announcing her current relationship status (married) and a picture of her new spouse tagged: “History made, destiny fulfilled, me and hubby on Savannahs Street, Georgia.
“Just Married…Anthony and Clarion Boyd.”
 
In another picture, Clarion and her hubby held hands taking marriage vow.

Why Buhari cannot curb corruption in civil service – Stakeholders

Some stakeholders on Tuesday in Abuja said for corruption to be totally eradicated from Nigeria, civil servants must be well paid for services they rendered. The view is contained in a communiqué issued at the end of a one-day workshop organised by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), a political association. The communiqué was jointly signed by Chief Peter Ameh, National Chairman, Peoples’ Progressive Alliance; Mr Tosin Adeyanju, Executive Director, Conscience Nigeria, and Mr Charles Nwoji, Deputy Director, Planning, National Orientation Agency.   The stakeholders, who were drawn from various political parties, the media and civil society organisations (CSOs) resolved that corruption existed everywhere but varied from society to society. Nigeria may lose status as 4th world’s largest LNG exporter

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria LNG Limited, Mr. Babs Omotowa, has raised the alarm on Nigeria’s dwindling investments in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), saying that with no new investments, the country would possibly drop from her current position of 4th world’s largest exporter of LNG to 10th position by 2020. Speaking at the April Lunch organised by the Petroleum Club in Lagos recently, Omotowa, who said NLNG had earned $90 billion revenue since 1999, also declared that NLNG elevated Nigeria to number four exporter of LNG in the world, after Qatar, Malaysia and Australia. Citing the data on the global exports of LNG in 2014, Omotowa said Nigeria was ahead of other world LNG giants, including Indonesia, Trinidad, Algeria, Russia, Oman, Yemen, Brunei, UAE, Peru, Equatorial Guinea, Norway, Papua New Guinea, US, Egypt and Angola.
