CAF Champions League: Enyimba crush Vital’O 5-1

Champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Enyimba, are all but through to the next round of the CAF Champions League, after they beat Vital’O 5-1 in a first round first leg match in Port Harcourt on Sunday.

Stephen Chukwude opened scoring in the 21st minute, before NPFL all-time record goals scorer Mfon Udoh doubled their lead.
Chukwude made it 3-0 with a fierce effort from the edge of the area in the 38th minute.
 
Udoh grabbed his brace after the break, before Vital’O netted a consolation goal in the 76th minute.
Enyimba extended their advantage through Ugochukwu Leonard five minutes from time.
The second leg comes up in Bujumbura next weekend.

Ejike Mbaka, has said if the Jonathan-led administration had continued with the leadership of Nigeria, the country would have been put up for sale by now.
