College of Education in Katsina-Ala shutdown by students over fee hike
It was gathered that the school authority had recently announced 100 per cent increment in the tuition fee.
Irked by the development, the irate students began the protest at the George Akume Hall, thus, paralyzing all academic activities in the school.
The students, displaying palm fronds, were singing ‘we no go gree oo, we no gree.”
Despite the intervention of the SUG President, and the Dean Students Affairs of the college, the students insisted that the protest continues until the school management rescinds its decision
