Veteran Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko, says the government has taken steps in the right direction for helping to keep the entertainment industry in the last one year.
Kosoko further opened up on the federal government’s continuous plan for the entertainment industry.
The ‘Secret Room’ actor in a chat with newsmen in Lagos on Democracy day, said, “The Minister of Information and Communication, Lai Mohammed, has been meeting with the stakeholders in the industry.
“He has confirmed President Buhari’s readiness to put the industry on the road map.
“My take away from this is that the industry will take a new shape in the next one year.
“The feelers we are getting from the government in the last one year already points to the fact that it has beautiful plans for the entertainment industry,” the movie icon stated.
