Exciting: Ese Oruru delivers baby girl in Bayelsa


Ese Oruru



The rescued 14-year-old Ese Oruru has delivered a baby girl.

Ese gave birth on Thursday in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
Recall that she was allegedly abducted in Bayelsa State last August and taken to Kano State where she was converted to lslam and married out without the consent of her parents.

Upon her return, she was taken to the Police Officers’ mess in Yenagoa.
Ese-Oruru Ese-Oruru Ese was said to have gone into labour this morning and was taken to the Government House Clinic where she delivered a baby girl.
Report says both the mother and the new baby are in perfect condition.

Why Buhari cannot curb corruption in civil service – Stakeholders

Some stakeholders on Tuesday in Abuja said for corruption to be totally eradicated from Nigeria, civil servants must be well paid for services they rendered. The view is contained in a communiqué issued at the end of a one-day workshop organised by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), a political association. The communiqué was jointly signed by Chief Peter Ameh, National Chairman, Peoples’ Progressive Alliance; Mr Tosin Adeyanju, Executive Director, Conscience Nigeria, and Mr Charles Nwoji, Deputy Director, Planning, National Orientation Agency.   The stakeholders, who were drawn from various political parties, the media and civil society organisations (CSOs) resolved that corruption existed everywhere but varied from society to society. National Convention: PDP youths kick against Sheriff’s Special Committees

The Youth wing of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has kicked against the four special committees set up by the National Chairman of the party, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, ahead of the party’s National Convention billed for May 21, 2016. Sherrif had in a statement named Rivers governor Nyesom Wike as chairman, Gov. Dairus Ishiaku of Taraba as deputy chairman and Gov. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi as secretary.
